This position is located in our Aspen studio.
Educational Requirements:
- BA, BFA, or BS in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program
Skills:
- Hand Drafting/Sketching: Novice
- AutoCAD 2020 and later: Proficient
- Revit, Sketchup, and 3D rendering a plus
- StudioWeb: will train
- Microsoft Office:
- Word: Proficient
- Excel: Proficient
- PowerPoint: Proficient
- Outlook: Proficient
Position Requirements:
- Position reports directly to the Project Lead
- Meet quarterly with Project Lead & Annually with Executive Team to review Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with High Net Worth clients
- Maintain a balanced workflow and meet deadlines: highly organized, self-motivated, problem solver
- Assist Design Team in collaboration with architects, lighting designers, audio/video contractors, developers, builders, General contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and fabricators: committed to high design and efficiency in project management
- Attend site visits for Construction Administration
- Under direction of Project Lead, make selections for the following:
- Architectural Materials
- Furnishings
- Fabrics
- Lighting
- Art & Accessories
- Under direction of Project Lead, Produce Interior Architectural drawings:
- Plans, elevations, sections, details
- Plumbing & Lighting layouts
- Custom Millwork: kitchen, closets, bathrooms, etc…
- Tile designs
- Assist in the production of detailed pricing and ordering documents
- Visit local vendors to drop off fabrics, furniture, lighting, finishes as needed
- Visit warehouse and trades to check on production and receipt of goods
